30 - 6, Are you kidding me?

Colorado hadn't won a football game all season.
Texas Tech has still never won a game at Colorado.

Colorado snapped a 10-game losing streak Saturday, not only humiliating Tech 30-6, but by dominating from start to finish. If there was a turning point, it was when the Buffaloes opted to come out for the opening kickoff despite their 0-6 record. This from a Buffaloe offense that, until last Saturday, looked like it couldn't score more than 13 points in a game if it was playing a pop warner game.

Is it the quarterback? How about the offensive line? The receivers? The defense? What about the coaching staff? Who is to blame for Texas Techs lackluster performance against Missouri and then Colorado and this troubling lethargy that besets the team for not minutes or series at a time, but entire halves?

Sure, it hurts when ESPN dude Lee Corso (he coached his share of cupcakes) reminds the nation that Tech piles up lots of points against cupcakes but not against the good guys. The scores and results of the last several years substantiate all that he says. To change that mindset, you have to smash the cupcakes and win a fair share of the games against teams that do not contain cream fillings, like Missouri. The problem for Tech is there are not many cupcakes left in the Big 12. Baylor was, but no more. Iowa State was, but no more.
