Last night was the West Texas Men of Integrity Rally at our church. Colt and his dad were the guest speakers. As a red raider, it was hard to contain my excitement to see a shorthorn much less one who loves Christ. I was impressed though. Not with his speaking ability but the way he carried himself and the way he spoke of family and his realtionship with God. He knows scripture better than he reads a linebacker blitz.
He told stories from his childhood and current college days at TU. I guess I could pray for him as a brother in Christ, and I do hope he accomplishes great things...except on November 1 when his horns face the greatness of Graham Harrell in Lubbock.
