Over the weekend, Lexi came to live with us. Lexi is our new house dog/pet/companion/friend. She is a 4 month old light brown chihuahua mix. She was recenlty housed at the local animal shelter. It was great to see the reaction by the kids when we walked in the house. Carolyn screamed in a high pitch tone for two minutes, Krista was smiling and yelling yeah!, and Reece was slapping and kicking at her. (Such a boy)
We loaded up on Friday night and went to petsmart for new dog essentials. Items purchased were, dog food, squeaky toys, pink bed (picked by Carolyn), water and food bowls and training pads, (which have yet to be succesful).
Lexi loves to play chase, go for walks and run and hide from Reece. (Wouldn't you if a 5 year old was chasing you with that crazy look in his eye).
